Ziaul H. Munim, PhD
Course Instructor
Dr Munim is Associate Professor of Maritime Logistics at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). He is a Co-Editor of The Maritime Economist and Senior Editor of the International Journal of Emerging Markets and European Journal of International Management. He founded the educational platform Research HUB.
Dr Munim pursued PhD in International Management at the University of Agder, Norway (concentration in Maritime Economics and Logistics), and MSc in Supply Chain Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria (specializations in Transport and Logistics, and Transport Geography Modeling). Apart from that, he holds a Bachelor in Business Administration degree (specialization in Finance) from the Eastern University, Bangladesh. Furthermore, he completed two modules of the Global Challenges in Transport programme at the University of Oxford. He has extensive training in 'Structural Equation Modelling' (SEM) from the University of Oslo and the University of Cambridge. Earlier in career, he also worked in the industry for 1.5 years as Credit Risk Analyst at United Finance Company Ltd.
